Why so serious? Let's Have Fun & Give Back!

You are personally invited to an exciting event where there will be appetizers, networking, and a guest speaker!

Excited to announce that our guest speakers are the creators of the podcast Why So Serious? Nicole Wells (Communications Coach and Hypnotist) and Nikki MacCallum (Career Coach and Author) will be discussing topics such as executive presence, difficult conversations at work, mastering your year-end review, public speaking, networking and more. They are known for helping people navigate their way through corporate America without taking themselves too seriously. These New York City based ladies are motivational, helpful, and inspiring while doing it all with a sense of humor.

The inspiration for this event is because I am running the NYC Marathon this year and am raising awareness and money for Autism Speaks. I chose to run for them because I have dedicated part of my practice to helping families with loved ones with special needs plan financially. This has opened my eyes to the importance of organizations like Autism Speaks as The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates 1 in 59 children is on the autism spectrum.

You won’t want to miss this event, because it will be fun, you will meet new people, learn a few things, and be helping a good cause!

If you can attend I ask that you e-mail me ([email protected]) by 10/4 (first come first serve) and consider joining me in my efforts to support Autism Speaks! Any donation would be greatly appreciated - no donation is too small!!

Looking forward to seeing you!

Power Hour: Save Lives While Saving Money

You are personally invited to a special dinner party! We would like to get to know you and share some important insights regarding financial planning over dinner and drinks. Even if you have done some planning, this will be a great opportunity to learn and enjoy a night out on us.

Your lives are busy, have you had a chance to think about the following statements and questions?

  1. I'm clear about how much money is coming in, how much is going out and where I spend my money each month.
  2. If I became ill or injured and couldn't work. I know exactly how much my workplace disability income insurance would pay and for how long.
  3. I know how much money I need to save for retirement?
  4. I know what I want for my future and have a written financial plan outlining what it will take to make it happen?

Looking forward to seeing you at the event! Please RSVP so we can reserve a spot for you.

Best,
Jacqueline Engel and Brian Boder

Planning Beyond Tomorrow: Addressing Financial Planning & Important Documents

When was the last time you created or revisited your current plan to make sure your loved one with special needs will be taken care of? Feeling confident about your plan comes from taking action today to provide for tomorrow. Creating a plan includes setting goals, accumulating resources, addressing risks, implementing lifetime income strategies and revisiting your plan as life unfolds.

The following speakers will be presenting on two major areas of planning:

  1. Jacqueline Engel (Financial Advisor): Addressing defensive & offensive planning, tax advantage vehicles, benefits from the government, advantages of working with an advisor, etc.
  2. Sarah Moskowitz (Attorney): Finding the right attorney to set up wills, supplemental need trusts, guardianship, letters of intent, etc.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how you can plan for your loved one's future. If you can't attend, please e-mail [email protected] to set up a one-on-one meeting.
